Hi again. So the most interesting thing has happened. A long lost friend has found me after 7 years and things have started right where they left off. Actually, they didn't. We had a fight 7 years ago and ended the friendship.
I've thought about him quite a bit the first 12 months. Not so much the following 6 years. Every now and then he'd pop into my mind...but then it stopped. The popping.
Now he's back and I'm glad. He made me feel alive back then. And now I realize that I was dead the last 6 without him.
Up until today, we'd only emailed. Today we talked. For the first time in 7 years. I missed it. This might be the re-start of something. Stay tuned.

The First
Wow, the first post. Who would have thought it...not I. Maybe one day someone will discover this little blog and join me in my random musings. But first, a bit of introduction.
I live in Bristow, VA (hence the name of the blog). If you're not familiar with Virginia, Bristow is a suburb of Washington, DC. We're about 40 miles southwest of DC. Ok place as far as the suburbs are concerned.
My loves include the old TV show, Alias, alternative music (current fav the british band Muse - ok so do you see any correlations?), things that are not necessarily mainstream or popular. I'm in the process of writing a book based on the stereotypical goings on in the suburbs - stay-at-home moms, mini vans, spoiled, overindulged kids, and infidelity. If I ever finish it and get it published, I will let you all know.
Well, that's it for the first entry. Talk to you all soon...if there are any of you out there.
